ITA — Kraftwerk /kraftvɛrk/ [kraft-werk] s.m., ted. – 1. Centrale elettrica, impianto industriale per la produzione di energia elettrica. 2. Secondo una visione organicistica, cuore pulsante che trasmette nutrimento a tutte le apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche, permettendone il funzionamento. 3. Quartetto musicale elettronico fondato in Germania nel 1970 e tuttora condotto da R. Hütter e F. Schneider.  Ai K. si deve nel 2003 la pubblicazione dell'album “Tour de France – Soundtrack” dedicato alla famosa corsa ciclistica. Il lavoro dei K., è da sempre ispirato al rapporto macchina-uomo; in “Tour de France – Soundtrack” lo sport che per eccellenza coniuga e celebra il rapporto tra macchina e uomo riceve voce (elettronica). Degna di nota è l'analogia con l'attività di Superleggero: la produzione di tale marchio prevede infatti l'impiego della macchina tessile per la realizzazione di accessori usati da esseri umani su macchine a pedali.
