An Unidentified Fashion Object.

The 54 SPECIALE CRITÉRIUM is a mutation of the cyclists’ musette into a handbag.

Inspired by the historic jersey of the Critérium du Dauphiné — red with white dots — 54 SPECIALE CRITÉRIUM translates an archival graphic code into an urban and contemporary fashion accessory.

The Critérium design identifies the front panel of the bag, onto which the interchangeable Tyvek® dossards are pinned.
The back, bottom and handles are sourced from different bags and assembled individually, giving each piece a unique composition.

The Tyvek® front dossard is one of the most iconic symbols of cycling: a simple race number traditionally pinned to the back of the riders’ jerseys, reinterpreted here as a precious interchangeable detail.

Handcrafted in Italy from robust cotton canvas, each 54 SPECIALE CRITÉRIUM is cut, assembled and sewn by hand.

Inside, a large pocket and five Tyvek® dividers define an organised, lightweight and durable space.
Each bag comes with two Tyvek® dossards. The five other numbers in the series can be purchased separately, allowing for an infinite number of combinations.

Each 54 SPECIALE CRITÉRIUM is unique.
